Daniela is a freelance journalist, photojournalist and investigative researcher, mainly working in Italian, English, Norwegian, French and Danish.
She lives in Oslo, Norway, where she focuses on environment and EU policy reporting in the fields of agriculture, environment and energy for ENDS Europe. She freelanced before for different media including Al Jazeera, Deutsche Welle, WIRED, and VICE writing about cities, criminal organisations, social issues and food culture.
She has been on staff at Politico, De Smog and Tortoise Media where she worked on reporting on agri businesses and agrifood policies at the EU level and in the UK.

In 2021 and 2022 she was a grant receiver from the organisation Journalism Fund to work on 3 investigative researches and a photojournalistic project.
